Meaghan gonzalez
THERAPIST, LPC
Meaghan’s biggest goal is to ensure that everyone believes that their voice is important, and they feel empowered to make changes in their lives. She believes that healing is found in the present moment and looking at practical ways to make changes for the future. Meaghan provides a direct, yet compassionate approach to therapy, with a hint of humor. Her specialties include, but are not limited to:
- Family Dynamics
- Secondary Trauma
- Emotional Burnout
- Spiritual Burnout
- Life Changes
Meaghan graduated with her Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Criswell College. During her time at Criswell she worked as a case worker for Women and Children at Parkland Hospital, as well as serving within her church as a child and youth leader. From this time, her passion sparked in helping families come to build healthy and meaningful relationships. She also served alongside a group of pastors in church planting missions and has seen the damage that can be done when self-care is forgotten. You can often hear her asking people how they are taking care of themselves. In 2024, Meaghan moved to Kansas in order to slow down and practice her own self-care. You can find Meaghan reading a book at her local coffee shop, marathon training with her dog, experimenting in the kitchen, or cultivating her garden. Please note that all HCC therapists are contractors, therefore they set and determine their own schedules, specializations, and hours. HCC will help communication between clients and therapists, but scheduling is at the discretion of each individual therapist.
